Fabia Mantwill is an awardee of the German Jazz Prize 2021 for one of her arrangements on her debut record EM.PERIENCE, featuring her signature jazz chamber orchestra and world renowned soloists such as Kurt Rosenwinkel, Ben Wendel and Nils Landgren.

As an arranger and composer, she has worked with Vince Mendoza, Kurt Elling, Becca Stevens, the Metropole Orchestra (NL) and the National Scottish Jazz Orchestra, to name a few. She has performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C., the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg, the Apollo Theatre in New York City, at renown festivals such as Jazz Baltica, jazzopen Stuttgart, Elbjazz and XJAZZ and received an invitation to the prestigious Betty Carter’s Jazz Ahead Residency (2016) and the Banff International Workshop for Jazz & Creative Music (2017).

Since 2022 she’s the artistic director of the Berlin Youth Jazz Orchestra.
