Jazz harpist Milena Hoge presents her instrument as an independent voice in the context of jazz and "world music". She stands out for her expertise in improvisation as well as her unwavering enthusiasm for the harp in jazz.

Milena studied jazz (harp) at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre with Prof. Burghard Braune (jazz piano) and Isabel
Moreton (harp). She also holds a Bachelor's degree in classical harp and instrumental pedagogy from the Detmold University of Music.
At the competition of the Association of Harpists in Germany, Milena won the 1st prize and the audience prize for her jazz and folk interpretations.
Milena Hoge has been a scholarship holder of the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation.

Milena is performing regularly in various projects, for example with the "Fabia Mantwill Orchestra", her Folk Duo "TuneWood", her World-jazz quartett "Narraun" and as a Duo with singer Mai Linh Dang. Appearances include the festivals "Elbjazz" and "Jazz Baltica" as well as the "World Harp Congress".
