Tal Gordon is an independent trumpeter born in Johannesburg, South Africa. Currently based in Tel Aviv, she leads her own jazz group called 'spirits' who have recently recorded their upcoming debut album. Tal’s journey with music began at the age of 10 when she was gifted an electric keyboard as a birthday gift from her late grandfather. She fell in love with music and picked up the trumpet at the age of 15. Tal continued to study music at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2015 and graduated with a bachelor of music. Tal has since played at festivals such as the Cape Town International Jazz Festival and Queenta Jazz Festival in Jerusalem.
