Born in Kazakhstan and raised in Siberia, she has been living in Germany for over a decade, embracing a rich mix of cultural influences. Her music is a poetic and vibrant exploration of longing, transformation, and the search for home. In one song, echoes of Armenian melodies intertwine with jazz harmonies; in another, mythical imagery and poetry in Russian and English merge with groovy rhythms and improvisation.

Since forming her band in 2021, Valeria has performed at international festivals such as jazzahead! Clubnight, Jazz am Rhein, and Jazz’n the Black Forest. With her debut album, Here is the Silence, released in September 2024, she received the FUTURE SOUNDS Prize at the Leverkusener Jazztage Festival. Her music invites listeners to embrace themselves, explore their emotions, and rediscover the world’s wonders.
