Valeria Zangger is a Swiss drummer and performer based in Lucerne/Zürich, working across contemporary jazz, experimental music and electronic pop. Her playing is shaped by groove, physicality, reduction and a radical openness to different musical languages. Curious about the margins between genres, she explores sound, dynamics and electronics in diverse musical contexts, from improvisation to interdisciplinary performance. Alongside her work as a performer, she teaches at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU).
