Leona started playing guitar at age 13. At age of 16 she visited Moers Festival for the first time and fell in love with free improvised music. Now she studies Music at Oldenburg University with jazz guitarist Jan-Olaf Rodt and leads her own band "Bleidiät". Leona is curious about mixing elements of rock, stoner, blues and jazz together while improvising a lot.
