Mandy Neukirchner completed her acting graduation in 2012 and worked in theater and film after her graduation. Since 2017, the native of Halle has been studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater. As part of her studies, she wrote several papers on the topic of women in music, explicitly on women in jazz. In the course of her musical development she participated in various projects as a guitarist/jazz guitarist. Her teachers include Werner Neumann, Andrezj Mokry and Jens Christian Kofod Kwella. Currently Mandy Neukirchner is doing a year abroad at the "Royal Academy of Music" in Aarhus. There she studies music in the rhythmic department of the academy with the main subject electric guitar/ jazz guitar. Also in Denmark she is trying to educate herself about feminist issues in music/ jazz.
