Sue McKenzie is a Yanagisawa / D’Addario Woodwinds Artist and performs internationally with Multifarious as well as Salsa Celtica, Glasgow Improvisers Orchestra and Hot Dub Time Machine. She has given UK and Scottish premieres of many new works and has released two albums on Delphian Records. Sue was guest artist at the RADD Jazz Series, University of Wisconsin River Falls, USA (2019) and other recent gigs include the 606 Club / Jazz Cafe (London) and West Holts Stage (Glastonbury). As well as playing support for Esbjörn Svensson Trio and Bill Frisell, Sue has recorded with Haftor Medbøe Group for Linn Records. She is the founder of the Scottish Saxophone Academy and was an Assistant Director of the World Saxophone Congress, 2012. Sue is also Course Director of the Edinburgh Napier University Jazz Summer School and is on the board for the Scottish Jazz Archive.
